Grief Resources

We have established our Grief Resource Library as a community resource; it is for the families we serve, but also for anyone that may have a question about dying, grief and mourning. Death touches many people everyday, in sometimes unexpected places. We are here to give advice and resources to anyone wanting to help another in the difficult journey that begins with grief.

We have divided the subject of Grief into 9 different categories. These categories are to help you easily find information that pertains to your needs. But, please do not feel that you should only look in one category, many times, many aspects of grief blend together. We have also included a list of articles at the end of the list of books, these are an excellent source of information in a shorter reading format.

  • Widowhood and the General Grief Journey

  • Adult's Loss of Parents

  • The Loss of a Child (Including SIDS, Stillbirth, & Miscarriage)

  • Children Confront Death

  • Teenagers Confront Death

  • Helping Someone Cope

  • Suicide

  • At Death's Door, Aging and the Dying Process
