Sarah passed away Wednesday afternoon at her home at On With Life. She was 27 years of age.

Sarah Ruth Vore, daughter of Michael Harvey and Shirley June Bandstra Vore, was born September 29, 1982 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Sarah attended school at ChildServe in Johnston and graduated in 2003 from the In House School Program in a Cap and Gown Ceremony. Following her graduation she moved to On With Life in Glenwood. Sarah loved listening to music and swimming. She received outstanding care while she was in Johnston and Glenwood and remained in Glenwood until her death. Sarah's life, although short, was one that touched countless lives, even those she had never met. Her caregivers said she taught them respect and compassion and called her "our little angel". Her family said that she had the gift to make everyone around her better and more caring, especially for special needs people.

Her family includes her parents, Mike & Shirley Vore of Oskaloosa; brothers: Owen Vore, Rob (Stephanie) Campbell, and Jim Campbell, all of Oskaloosa; a sister, Mendy (Lance) Edgar of Baxter, IA; her maternal grandmother, Gerdena Bandstra of Knoxville; her paternal grandmother, Norma Webber of Bella Vista, AR; many aunts, uncles and
cousins and all her caregivers who lovingly cared for her everyday of her life.

Sarah was preceded in death by her two grandfathers: Dick Bandstra and Marvin Vore, Sr. and an aunt, Marcia Bandstra.
