Beverly Faun Breuklander, daughter of Alma Louise Lockard Olivier, was born January 8, 1939 on Fox Ranch, rural Leighton, Iowa. She was a 1958 graduate of Oskaloosa High School and furthered her education at Ottumwa Beauty School. Beverly was united in marriage with Junior LeRoy Breuklander, February 3, 1962, in Oskaloosa. They made Oskaloosa their home and Beverly operated Wakonda Beauty Salon for several years. After she had children, Beverly stayed home with them until they were of school age. She then worked as a librarian and aid at Garfield school. She later worked as an optometry assistant for Dr. Lloyd Phillips, at the auto department in the courthouse, and as a secretary for Arc 12 Solar Fencing and Intraco, Inc. In 1992, Beverly moved to Lake of the Ozarks and worked for Electra Cat. She moved to Springfield in 1998 and worked as a nursing aid at Primrose Care Center. Her last employment was with Cox Health Center as a P.C.A. in the surgical I.C.U. Beverly's flowers were her passion and her home was known as "the one with the flowers".
