Visitation: Will begin after 11:00 a.m., Wednesday morning, February 25, 2009 at Garland-Van Arkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel, the family will be at the funeral chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening to greet visitors.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Thusday morning, February 26, 2009 at Tracy United Methodist Church with Reverend Brian Hotrum officiating.
Interment: Bellefountain Cemetery near Tracy, Iowa

Jerry passed away Sunday evening at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 28 days of age.

Gerald Edward Beebe, son of Versal Wayne and Connie Colleen Hart Beebe, was born August 25, 1942 in Knoxville, Iowa. Jerry was a 1960 graduate of Tracy High School. Following his education he started Beebe Construction, which he owned and operated for 20 years. March 10, 1963, Jerry was united in marriage to Linda Lucille Sharp in Tracy. They made their home in Tracy and to this union were born three children. Linda passed away November 9, 1999. In 1981 Jerry started working at Pella Corp as a machinist; he worked there 20 years, retiring in 2002. June 23, 2001, he was united in marriage to Linda Diana Huffstodt in Tracy. They also made their home in Tracy. Jerry attended Tracy United Methodist Church; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, horse back riding, and just spending time out of doors.

Jerry’s family includes his wife, Linda Beebe of Tracy; two sons and daughters-in-law: Jerry L. and Lisa Beebe of Oskaloosa and Steven and Lory Beebe of Macon, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly K. and Tim Sytsma of Tracy and his parents: Versal and Connie Beebe of Harvey, IA. He was blessed with eight grandchildren: Sarah Sytsma, Jacob Sytsma, Connie Beebe, Jory Beebe, Cesilee Higgins, Nick Beebe, Jason Beebe and Zach Beebe. He is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law: Margaret & Ron Gee of Knoxville, IA and Linda Stracke of Bondurant, IA; and a brother, Roy Beebe of Pershing, IA.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Pella Comfort House.
